On November 25, 2024, local time in Lithuania, a DHL plane, a German delivery company, was traveling from Leipzig, Germany, to Vilnius, Lithuania, and was about to land but did not reach the runway, crashed just about 1 km from the airport, before skidding for hundreds of meters and crashing into residential buildings, small buildings and cars.
